Australia Update Coronavirus

It is a family of viruses that can cause respiratory illness in humans and animals.
For instance, the human coronavirus can lead to severe pneumonia, fever and hypotension in humans.
As well as this, the swine and avian coronaviruses are also common in humans.
The most common human coronavirus is camel or dog coronavirus (HCoV-68).
This virus has recently caused severe disease in Australia, resulting in approximately fifty deaths.
AUSTRALIA'S HCOV-68 FIRST APPEARED IN LATE 2014 AND STARTED TO SPREAD RAPIDLY BY THE END OF THAT YEAR.
Initially, the virus affected only camels but later spread to dogs and humans.
The HCoV-68 virus is very much like the Sars virus that caused global panic in 2003.
This led to many countries banning travel from countries with high levels of Sars infection.
By doing this, these countries hoped to stop the disease from spreading further.
Hopefully, this will help other countries update their Sars prevention strategies to combat HCoV-68.
As with any health scare, there's always a lot of speculation about what causes a new outbreak.
Some experts believe global warming may have contributed to the outbreak by exposing more camels to deadly diseases for longer periods.
In response to the outbreak, the government of Australia increased their health surveillance and prepared for future outbreaks by stockpiling HCoV-68 vaccines.
Fortunately, Australia is one of the few countries with both camels and a cold climate, which should make it less susceptible to HCoV-68 spread.
ALTHOUGH THERE'S STILL MUCH WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT HCOV-68, THESE INCREASED PRECAUTIONS ARE UNDERSTSISTABLE.
Since Sars caused over 80 percent of its known health problems among people traveling from countries with high Sars infection rates, increased health surveillance is wise precautionary action.

Hopefully, this will be an incentive for other countries to update their Sars prevention strategies to combat HCoV-68.
AUSTRALIA IS ONE OF THE MOST POPULATED COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD WITH OVER TWENTY-SIX MILLION PEOPLE.
Their capital is Canberra and they have a coastline along the southern ocean.
They are also home to many unique animal species such as kangaroos and koalas.
Australia is well known for their Outback, which is an area filled with vast deserts and mountains.
They are also renowned for their healthy food choices such as organic produce, fish, and a strong vegetarian culture.
However, Australia has dealt with a severe outbreak of coronavirus since 2014.
This virus has destroyed many lives and caused major health concerns.
The first sign of the severe coronavirus outbreak was when a nurse in New South Crews Ltd.
(New crew) hospital in Victoria developed severe body aches and fever on June 11th, 2014.
Over the next four months, three more healthcare workers would be diagnosed with milder forms of the virus.
These healthcare workers were from the same hospital where the nurse worked; they had been exposed to an infected patient while treating him.
Some patients have been coping with their illness much better than others.
This is because some people have stronger immune systems than others; those with weaker immune systems have suffered much greater health implications than others due to an unsound immune system.
Fortunately, all five cases of severe coronavirus have recovered after receiving antiviral drugs, nutritional support, and blood transfusions.
However, this severely weakened the already weak Australian health system by allowing a major virus to spread among its staff.
Australia has dealt with a severe outbreak of coronavirus since 2014.
Five healthcare workers have contracted severe forms of the disease, and one death has occurred as well.
The 578 new cases have caused major health concerns for both employees and the general public alike.
While some patients are coping much better than others due to a sound immune system- Strength - , overall Australian health remains compromised by their current situation regarding coronavirus\\/ SARS-like virus .
It's unfortunate that this devastating virus affects both humans and animals alike- causing even more death and suffering among its victims.
Coronavirus carries deadly implications for both humans and animals.
It has drastic consequences for those with weak immune systems as it can cause severe illness, death, and further weakening of the body's defense system.
This is why coronavirus has severely affected many healthcare workers in the past few years.
One nurse who worked at New crew hospital died from complications due to severe coronavirus in April 2015.
The deaths of three other healthcare workers prompted an emergency meeting between the federal government and state health departments in June 2015.
Doctors came up with a plan to treat infected staff members by administering plasma from blood donors who have survived an African Ebola outbreak in 2000-2016.
While this is an interesting medical discovery, it's disturbing that Australia had to go through this when there were already severe health concerns due to their major outbreak of coronavirus.
